Why We Started Giving AF

In 2019, we opened Anytime Fitness in Cave Creek, Arizona, with the hope of helping people become stronger, healthier, and more connected. What we found was an extraordinary community that quickly became much more than a collection of gym members—it became a family.

Over the years, we watched people we cared about face serious illnesses and unexpected injuries. Along with the physical and emotional challenges came another crisis: overwhelming medical bills, lost income, missed work, travel expenses, and the everyday costs that don’t stop when someone becomes sick.

We saw good people doing everything they could to recover while also worrying about how they would provide for their families. We knew we wanted to do more than simply stand by and watch.

That is why we created Giving AF.

Giving AF brings individuals, businesses, and neighbors together to provide meaningful financial relief to local families facing hardship because of illness, injury, and unexpected medical expenses.

We believe no family should face medical hardship alone—and when our community comes together, we can help lighten the burden.
